UWbF held its AGM on Saturday, January 30th, 2021 at the Federation offices at Balintuma road.
The event was graced by Dr. D. Rukare who in his speech pledged continued government support to the federation and called on UWbF members not to take things for granted as the federation is of great value and can help them shine beyond imagination.
A series of items were discussed but top of the agenda was the election of the new executive team.
Mr. P. M. Kayongo who is the founding president of the Federation was unopposed as he landed another term in office.
Mr. Kayongo has played a tremendous role in promoting Woodball in the country and on the African continent with countries such as South Africa, Nigeria, Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania, Mauritius, Sierra Leone, Kenya, Gabon, DR Congo and Cameroon all embracing the game.
Mr. Vicent Kisenyi, Ms. Shanaz Luwedde, Mr. Collins Ssemmanda, Ms. Sarah Mpiima all retained their seats at the executive.
The 2021 financial budget of 1.6bn shillings was approved.
