The Uganda Woodball Federation (UWbF) is proud to highlight its continued partnership with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) as the main sponsor of the upcoming 15th ICPAU Junior Woodball Championship.

The Federation has received a boost of UGX 22 million, both in cash and kind, from ICPAU to support the event preparations and success. This generous contribution is a testament to ICPAU’s deep commitment to nurturing young talent and fostering sports development in Uganda.

A Legacy of Impact and Partnership

Since 2013, ICPAU has stood out as a consistent and dedicated partner to the Uganda Woodball Federation. Their unwavering support has fueled the growth of woodball at the grassroots level, enabling the Federation to organize 12 successful editions of the Junior Championship.

The most recent edition, held in Lwengo District, was a great success and reflected the strength of this partnership. Now, the momentum continues with the next edition moving to a new host district—part of the Federation’s rotational hosting strategy that aims to spread the sport across Uganda’s diverse regions.

Appreciation and Acknowledgment

The Uganda Woodball Federation extends its deep gratitude to ICPAU for its ongoing commitment and contributions. The Federation recognizes ICPAU not only as a sponsor but as a true development partner in the journey of empowering youth through sport.

ICPAU Supports

“This long-standing collaboration with ICPAU goes beyond financial support; it’s a shared vision for developing young leaders and disciplined citizens through woodball,” noted UWbF President Paul Mark Kayongo.

Looking Ahead

With preparations underway, the Federation anticipates a highly competitive and inspiring championship, with over 400 young participants expected to take part. This event continues to serve as a platform for identifying and nurturing Uganda’s next generation of woodball stars.
