Woodball League

Introduction

The National Woodball League commenced in 2017, after a successful piloting innovational League in 2016. Being one of the federation’s major products, we decided to strengthen the competition by having a return leg on the 2022 activity calendar.

Sponsorship

In 2017, Buganda Land Board unveiled the league sponsorship that ran for 3 years, hence branding it as the BLB Woodball League. Once again BLB bounces back as the lead sponsor of this year’s National League. Other sponsorships will come from participation fees of the Clubs, and other Well-wishers.

Format

Woodball League, designed in six outings every year, teams compete in various categories for an overall ranking. Competing teams must have legal existence as per UWbF guidelines.

All Woodball teams had direct qualification to the National League (Open) as a matter of refreshing the National League after a 2 year Covid19 pandemic halt.
