The Uganda Woodball Federation has officially unveiled the team that will contest in the 2024 Woodball World Cup. This momentous announcement took place during the President’s Cup at Lugogo Cricket Oval.

The event, filled with excitement and anticipation, marked a significant milestone for the Federation and the selected athletes. The President’s Cup, a prestigious tournament in its own right, served as the perfect backdrop for introducing the national team that will represent Uganda on the global stage.

The men’s and women’s teams, comprising both seasoned players and promising newcomers, have been meticulously selected to showcase Uganda’s best talent in woodball. The Federation’s President, Paul Mark Kayongo, expressed confidence in the team’s potential to perform exceptionally well at the World Cup.

We are committed to making woodball Uganda’s leading sport.”
